How short can it be, but still be put up?

I am getting my hair cut. I am going with a bob, with a wide side bang that covers one eye sort of like this:

There are some days when I just can't handle styling my hair, so I just put it up. What I want to know is this: What it the shortest I could cut my hair while still being able to put it up?

you can always put your hair up, no matter the length. unless it is so short that you do the exact same thing everyday....but by the pic, your hair will still be long enough.

you can still put your hair in a ponytail, but you may have to clip some stray hairs up. buy some bobby pins or clips and that solves that problem.

you can also get a smallish jaw clip and clip back your hair that way. just like a halfdo, but with a clip. you don't have to do anything with the rest of your hair, unless you leave out bangs in which case you may want to straighten them, but they may not need it.

you can always find a way to keep your hair back if you want to, so don't worry. you can either pull it back or it is so short that you don't need to!

This cut is really cute. If you want to wear a ponytail, hang it up. With a bob, unless it's a long one, you will have shorter hair in the back and pulling it all back will look, well, unkempt. Your best bet is to get some really cute bobby pins to wear when you aren't feeling the bob. They make them for adults with beautiful crystal flowers, etc.

Just know that if you don't like the cut, let it grow out and try something else.

It's just hair and it will grow back!!:)

Again, love that cut!
